Busy as a Bee

I've been pretty busy the past couple of weeks due to the exams my pupils are having, so not much time to update on anything!

Although I have been facebooking and reading online mangas =P, there hasn't been time to really relax and create anything. Well this coming week should be better.
The P6s are having their final papers today and tomorrow and I've only got the other level pupils to worry about now! Haha!

Got some ideas on a recycling project that I hope will turn out alright, more news on that later!

Wedding Madness Pt.1

Sunday was a totally filled day for me, hopping all over town with my soon-to-be-a-bride godsis. After church (which we haven't been for AGES! -god forgive me T_T- we headed down to Chinatown to hunt down beads and charms. People's Park Centre has sure changed alot (think Chinese invasion haha) and there were a couple of interesting food stalls around! (forgot to take pics)

My GS actually ordered duck's HEARTS to snack on (my 1st rxn is as expected, BLEH!!) but the braised organ tasted surprisingly smooth and meaty (No funny textures ala liver).

After another two stops at PS and Taka, after heading home I just had to peep at wedding dresses ala Greek style cos I recalled she went on a holiday there once. If only we can find them here!?? Know anyone who designs such? Cheap???

I just LUV these! Simplicity is the key for me. (Too bad I won't be a bride anytime soon).

Bobble heads are born

I was doddling during one of my lessons when a pupil of mine asked me how to draw...

And that's when the Bobbleheads(copyright me 2009 - hopefully no one else has) were born. Using a simple circle, I've created a couple of these drawings, but so far they are in the rough. (pencil sketches only =))

I'm going to try colouring them in and maybe CGing if I can....which I can't since I do not have a CG program nor am I good at it (this will soon be proven when I start uploadin my old works up).

Felted goods

I recently became more obsessed with sewing felted items when one of my students gave me a DIY felted ice cream for Teacher's Day. While sourcing the net for some freeby DIY felt projects, I came across this Etsy site with fantastic and realistic yummy felt FOOD.

She sells the patterns and you get to do it yourself!

This has given me inspiration for an upcoming school holiday =D!!
